Private Equity Operations (VP)

We are seeking an experienced Vice President for the Private Equity Operations team in Dallas, Texas, who will lead a portfolio of client engagements and be responsible for delivering high-quality results. The successful candidate will serve as a senior leader and bring experience in leading teams and executing strategic initiatives.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Vice President to join the FAIR team and lead a defined portfolio of customer engagements in the AMRS region. This role combines customer ownership, delivery oversight, strategic execution, and people leadership, with a strong focus on driving operational excellence and delivering high-quality results.

Tasks

* Independently monitor a portfolio of client engagements in the AMRS region, with responsibility for delivery quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction. * Serve as senior escalation point for complex analytical, structural, or delivery issues. * Ensure consistent application of methodologies in the analysis of management fees, partnership expenses, and carried interest analyses. * Clearly and effectively communicate complex fund structures and results to clients and internal stakeholders. * Proactively identify and manage delivery risks, capacity constraints, and dependencies.

Strategic and operational management

* Lead and execute strategic initiatives to improve scalability, consistency, risk management, and customer experience * Partnering with global and cross-functional teams to solve operational challenges and improve end-to-end delivery * Translating broader business strategy into clear priorities and execution plans for the AMRS portfolio * Monitoring key delivery metrics, risks, and issues, with structured updates to senior leadership

Leadership and talent development

* Leading, coaching, and developing managers and junior professionals to support client delivery * Setting clear expectations for quality, accountability, and performance * Actively developing junior talent through hands-on coaching, technical guidance, and structured feedback * Identifying high performers and supporting their career development; addressing performance gaps with clarity and urgency
