The LGT Capital Partners Private Markets Analyst Program is a unique opportunity for recent graduates to start an exciting career with a leading alternative investment specialist in private markets.
The Analyst Program is structured as a 2-year full-time position, with the opportunity for outstanding candidates to continue their career at LGT Capital Partners.
The location is in Switzerland (near Zurich).
The expected start date is by agreement, July 1, 2026 at the latest.
The program includes a 3-week tailored training module followed by continuous on-the-job training.
Tasks
- Support fundraising initiatives by developing customized marketing materials for various private markets offerings;
- Contributing to the development of product strategies and monitoring the entire life cycle of private markets funds;
- Responding to ad hoc requests from clients, potential clients and relationship managers based on information from the LGT CP platform;
- Conducting market research and quantitative analysis with a focus on performance measurement, benchmarking and market intelligence;
- Evaluating data at portfolio and underlying investment level and transforming it into client-friendly analyses;
- Work closely with the investment management and investment controlling team to ensure consistent, high quality content and accuracy of data output.
Requirements
- Excellent academic qualifications from a leading university at Masters level in business administration, economics, quantitative finance or a similar subject;
- Previous internship experience in a management consulting, finance or investor relations role or similar is an advantage;
- High attention to detail and accuracy; detailed experience with MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel;
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team, with excellent written and verbal English skills - other languages are a plus;
- Enjoy working in an entrepreneurial atmosphere, with curiosity and good organizational skills.
