Private Markets Product Specialist

EFG International is seeking a Senior Private Markets Product Specialist to drive innovation in private markets and deliver a first-class client experience through proactive relationships. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in sales and/or distribution in private markets and be an ambitious, self-motivated individual with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Private Markets Product Specialist to drive innovation in the region as part of our global network.

Main tasks

  • Responsible for the strategic and hands-on distribution of private markets solutions, with a focus on EFG's in-house private markets products and product suite of perpetual/evergreen funds.
  • Collaborate with client relationship officers (CROs), investment counsellors (ICs), and their clients to increase overall capital allocations to the asset class.
  • Responsible for concise and tailored marketing content for on-site presentations and written presentations, both internally and for our global customer base
  • Promoting the continuous development of our private markets franchise by identifying customer requirements and trends in order to shape our future product offerings
  • Developing educational initiatives to promote learning excellence and influence various stakeholder groups within EFG

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in distribution and/or sales within the private markets industry, preferably with a focus on global private wealth clients
  • For a management position: 10+ years of relevant professional experience required
  • Ambitious and self-motivated individual with the ability to work in a goal-oriented, high-performance culture while maintaining a down-to-earth attitude
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with an enthusiastic, flexible, and hands-on approach
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with knowledge of English and Mandarin (Cantonese is an advantage)
  • Master's degree in finance or similar and additional professional qualifications (CFA, CAIA, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to create concise, customer-oriented marketing materials
