Private Markets Program Solutions Manager

The Private Markets Program Solutions Manager is responsible for the technical implementation of investment controlling and reporting topics as well as process improvements in the financial operations department. The position requires experience in the fund industry, particularly in accounting and controlling.

Job description

The Private Markets Financial Operations team is looking for a motivated and self-driven individual. The role will focus on investment controlling and reporting technical topics as well as operational process improvements with a deep understanding of accounting data and reporting requirements.

Tasks

  • Subject matter expert for Investran and other systems used in Financial Operations;
  • Compilation of use cases and determination of user requirements for the development and implementation of technical solutions in investment controlling;
  • Collaboration with enterprise and business architects on business and technology projects;
  • Participation in and evaluation of business applications for new technologies;
  • Collaborate with internal and external administrators to provide relevant investment and program reporting data across asset classes;
  • Development and improvement of internal tools for performance fee forecasting and long-term investor forecasting;
  • Development and expansion of the private markets valuation guideline.

Requirements

  • University degree in finance/accounting or similar qualification;
  • Previous fund industry work experience in an accounting/finance, controlling or fund audit role, deep understanding of accounting, fund reporting requirements and fund structure setup required;
  • Hands-on experience with Investran from a technical and business perspective, professional experience with Hazeltine and/or DealCloud a plus;
  • Experience in project coordination and implementation across multiple teams;
  • Strong skills related to process analysis, information flow and problem solving;
  • Performing in an environment with high expectations and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
  • Time management, adaptation to dynamic situations and priorities.
