Avera Bank is seeking a flexible and customer-focused individual to serve as a Private Client Advisor (60% to 90%) for a fixed-term position from August 2026 to January 2027. The role involves advising clients, managing cash, and maintaining ATMs and coin counters.
Job description
As a personal banking advisor, you are the first point of contact at the bank. Your responsibilities include:- Conducting consultations and assessments, and assisting customers in the customer service area.
- Overall responsibility for cash management, as well as maintaining the ATMs and the coin counter.
- Identifying customer needs, actively advising customers, and ensuring the successful sale of products and services in the areas of banking, savings, and retirement planning.
- Identifying additional customer needs in the areas of investments, financing, and/or retirement planning, followed by referral to the appropriate internal sales teams.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with:- Basic business training (preferably in the banking sector).
- Basic knowledge of numbers, saving, and planning for the future.
- Several years of experience advising clients.
- A strong focus on customers and service, and a passion for proactive customer engagement.
- A communicative, engaging, and proactive person.
- Pleasant manners and a well-groomed appearance.
- An independent, responsible, reliable, and meticulous work style.
