Process Excellence Specialist

The Process Excellence Specialist is responsible for leading process excellence projects and initiatives in the APAC region to improve the customer experience, operational efficiency, cost control, and scalability. The candidate will collaborate with business partners and technology teams to identify, prioritize, and implement improvements.

About the job

The Process Excellence Specialist is a hands-on role that implements Target Operating Model (TOM) modifications and process excellence projects and initiatives in APAC to improve the client experience, operational efficiency, cost control, and scalability.

Tasks

The main tasks include:
  • Maintaining the APAC-TOM and Process Excellence Roadmaps and assisting with the prioritization of initiatives
  • Conducting and co-leading diagnostics, value stream mappings, root-cause analyses, and "to-be" operating model designs
  • Identifying opportunities for efficiency, automation, risk reduction, and client experience improvement using Lean Six Sigma and/or data-driven analytics
  • Defining baselines, KPIs, and other performance metrics; aligning with management and stakeholder expectations; tracking and reporting on benefits
  • Development of implementation plans, updated controls, and sustainable, audit-ready process documentation
  • Timely delivery of project milestones

Requirements

The requirements include:
  • Process excellence and TOM expertise: Experience in process reengineering, value stream mapping, business model definition, and control frameworks
  • Lean Six Sigma: Green Belt (or equivalent) preferred; ability to apply DMAIC, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement techniques
  • Digital Enablement: Familiarity with process mining, workflow automation (RPA/BPM), and analytics
  • Data-Driven Problem Solving: The ability to analyze performance trends, quantify benefits, and make fact-based decisions
  • Change Management: Experience applying structured frameworks (e.g., ADKAR) to support adoption
  • Risk and Compliance Awareness: Understanding Regulatory Expectations, Operational Risks, and Audit Requirements in the Banking Sector

Qualifications and experience

Qualifications and experience include:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in various industries/sectors
  • Experience with B3 (Treasury, Oils
