Process Excellence Specialist
The Process Excellence Specialist at Johns Beer in Singapore drives digital transformation by optimizing end-to-end processes, reducing costs, and increasing operational efficiency in the areas of retail, logistics, and IT. The position requires more than five years of experience in process improvement, data analysis, and change management, as well as the ability to lead global transformation initiatives and ensure the adoption of new digital processes.
About the role
- The Process Excellence Specialist plays a hands-on role in end-to-end Target Operating Model (TOM) organization, end-to-end process design, and the associated support tools.
- The goal is to improve the customer experience by optimizing processes, reducing costs, and building stability.
- The candidate builds and improves core and supporting key processes for retail, mobile back office (service, logistics compliance, finance, COGS/operations, IT), operational efficiency (cost and time savings, planning, monitoring, and digital acceleration), and drives change adoption through disciplined management.
- Regional Coverage: A strategic and long-term approach aligned with the global TOM.
- Process coverage: Front office, middle office, and back office; retail; logistics and compliance; finance; COGS operations; IT.
Tasks
- Process Excellence & TOM Delivery:
- Maintain the Global TTM TOM Process Excellence Roadmap, perform value stream mapping, and carry out prioritization in coordination with global leadership and regional teams.
- Conducting value-add assessments, value stream mapping, and evaluating opportunities, as well as managing the findings during the initial phase.
- Engaging project leaders for transformation initiatives by establishing a network of excellence using global Digital-to-Life data analytics.
- Rapid Problem Solving: Initiating process simplifications and coordinating opportunities for improvement and stabilization, both internally and with senior management.
- Development of implementation plans, updated controls, and measurable, well-prepared projects.
- Meeting project milestones on time.
- Change Management & Adoption:
- Implementation of a structured change management process (roadmaps, communication, training) for process simplification and improvement plans.
- Managing the adoption of redesigned processes and monitoring results after the go-live.
- Value Creation for All Transformation Programs:
- Ensuring that digital processes meet the requirements for regulatory, legal, audit, and risk controls.
- Improving Audit Quality: Documentation and Verification of Controls.
Requirements
- Technical skills:
- Experience in process excellence and TSEM. Knowledge of process redesign, value stream mapping, scenario impact analyses, and design frameworks.
- Analytical skills: Deriving insights and analyzing process data, as well as leading data-driven, continuous service and optimization techniques.
- Digital Acceleration: Familiarity with the automation of process-based value creation (APM/RPA) and analytics deployment.
- Data-Driven Problem Solving: The ability to analyze key performance indicators, quality metrics, and the drivers of fact-based decisions.
- Change Management: Experience in applying structured frameworks (e.g., OPM3) to facilitate adoption.
- Risk and Compliance Awareness: Understanding regulatory expectations, appropriate risk management, control governance, and compliance frameworks.

- Stakeholder Influence: Strong ability to align senior leaders and manage cross-functional teams without direct authority.
