Product Due Diligence Analyst
The Product Due Diligence Analyst supports the Product Due Diligence and Platform Management team in conducting product reviews, assigning product risk assessments and reviewing products. The Analyst is responsible for maintaining a product database system and monitoring product reviews and risk assessments.
Job description
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Supports the Product Due Diligence and Platform Management team in conducting product due diligence, assigning product risk ratings and performing relevant product review tasks. Works closely with the Investment Content and Delivery, Global Markets, Compliance and COO teams
- Manages the product due diligence framework / process for new and existing investment products, taking into account regulatory requirements in Hong Kong and Singapore
- Manages a robust product database in a structured manner, verifying approved product listings in Asia and ensuring product suitability requirements are met
- Performs regular monitoring related to product due diligence and risk assessments. Manages data integrity with extensive use of Bloomberg, Excel and bank dashboard
- Participates in platform projects to help strengthen the overall product platforms
- Assists product owners with new product launches in Asia, including but not limited to conducting product due diligence and covering multiple asset classes
Qualification requirements
- University degree
- Relevant experience in product management and platform solutions, preferably in private banking
- Solid knowledge of investment products and local product developments
