Product Manager, Asset Owners - Private Markets

A Product Manager (Asset Owners) is expected to drive the vision, strategy and execution of Charles River for Private Markets for Asset Owners, working closely with various teams to develop solutions to optimize experience and value creation for clients in Private Markets Investment Management. The ideal candidate will have experience working with asset owners, strong business acumen and a passion for digital transformation.

Product Manager, Asset Owners - Private Markets

Tasks

  • Analyze, present and deliver new platform or service enhancements to asset owners
  • Work with existing asset owner clients and account managers to represent the voice of the client
  • Ensure that individual functions and products comply with the business objectives
  • Conducting customer calls and workshops to gather and understand customer insights
  • Prioritize, communicate and support complex and conflicting priorities and market requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and orchestration of product implementations
  • Responsibility for the asset owners as a segment front-to-back product roadmap
  • Work on product teams to ensure issues are collected, defined, decomposed and designed in a timely manner
  • Ensure alignment of infrastructure/products to support other segments

Key results

  • Assessment, delivery and maintenance of prioritized strategies and roadmaps for asset owners
  • Identifying and implementing specific product or solution enhancements that improve the customer experience
  • Identification and targeting of products via State Street on specific opportunities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in asset owner or allocator investment management
  • Corporate experience is preferred
  • Ability to work closely with different levels of stakeholders inside and outside the organization
  • Understanding the private market/alternative investment life cycle from the perspective of asset owners
  • Ability to work as part of a global, distributed organization
  • Progressive CTFs & CFA/ CMA is desirable
  • Experience with JIRA or other agile development tools
  • Ability to travel for client engagements (~20%) when required
