Product Manager

UBS is seeking an experienced Product Manager to develop and structure investment portfolios for Swiss pension funds, particularly in the area of non-traditional asset classes. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in structuring investment portfolios and in-depth knowledge of the value chain in the BVG/BVV2 and AS I sectors.

Your role

Do you have expertise in non-traditional (alternative) investment strategies offered by Swiss investment foundations and the entire fund value chain, including legal, risk, investment, and operational aspects? Have you managed product development initiatives from start to finish? Would you like to help us develop new strategic products for Swiss pension funds? We are looking for someone who:
  • Developed and structured investment groups for UBS AST Investment Foundations (non-traditional asset classes such as private equity, insurance-linked strategies, infrastructure, Swiss mortgages, and real estate) based on client requirements and thorough product feasibility assessments.
  • coordinates and manages the establishment of new investment groups as well as product lifecycle events (repositioning, mergers, new share classes, liquidation, etc.) from start to finish with all relevant stakeholders.
  • plans, initiates, and coordinates all changes to prospectuses and other fund documents resulting from new fund projects, lifecycle activities, and regulatory initiatives.

You will be working in the "Product Structured Collective Investment Schemes" team.

Your expertise

  • Extensive experience in structuring and practical experience in this field is a strong advantage, but a keen interest and a willingness to deepen your expertise will also be taken into account.
  • In-depth knowledge of the value chain in the areas of BVG, BVV2, and AS I is required.
  • solid investment expertise (e.g., a bachelor’s degree with a focus on banking, finance, or a related field).
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • A proactive self-starter with a keen eye.
  • a collaborative nature that enables effective cooperation with all stakeholders.
  • An excellent communicator with advanced German language skills (at least C1 level).
