Your challenge

• Collaborate with business, technology, market and product teams to conceptualize digital user journeys, gather and define requirements, design and prioritize features, and work with technology and other team members on delivery
• Understanding the needs of internal and external customers, deriving the overall product vision, leading stakeholder management, prioritizing the overarching changes and managing the backlog along the epics and features prioritized in the Quarterly Business Review (QBR)
• Responsibility for assigned products over their life cycle and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Work with Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to build required functionality and manage dependencies via ARTs and ensure trade-offs and prioritization decisions are managed
• Manage business and senior stakeholders as a partner and trusted advisor, ensuring continuous user feedback loops during agile delivery, and articulating the design, change and implementation strategy through presentation materials
• Work with Change Management to plan and orchestrate training and engagement materials for clients and front office
• Establishment of best practices in project management with structure, clear roles and responsibilities, backlog refinement, etc.
• Extracting relevant insights from online customer behavior and usability testing to continuously iterate the customer journey and improve the product experience
• Implement a framework to drive adoption and usage and establish a feedback loop to ensure the product meets customer needs

Regulatory responsibilities, risk management

• Work with legal and compliance teams to assess regulatory considerations for digital solutions
• Demonstrate appropriate values and behaviors, including but not limited to standards of honesty and integrity, care and diligence, fair treatment (fair treatment of clients), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, appropriate risk management and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a product owner in a financial institution, fintech, technology or consulting company
• Experience in defining a vision and strategy for a digital solution, product or service, and successfully managing the entire product lifecycle from ideation phase to scaling, including integrating user feedback into product requirements and prioritization
• Familiarity with client needs in wealth management and private banking, good understanding of business processes, process design and process re-engineering, especially in the areas of channels, digital notifications, online trading and portfolio and position management
• Experience with product discovery and delivery concepts to understand user needs, identify opportunities and demonstrate successful, effective delivery
• Knowledge of agile methodology and experience in partnering with research, design, change and technology in a design thinking and agile framework
• Proven problem solving and decision making skills, track record of prioritization and trade-offs through objective assessment of opportunities vs. potential pitfalls
• Ability to manage global virtual teams and communicate with stakeholders at every level
• Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to solve problems in a demanding and challenging environment
• Ability to apply sound business acumen, risk and control principles and data analysis techniques to gain insights and drive decisions
