Job description: Product Owner - Client and Employee Channels

Tasks

  • Collaborate with business, technology, market and product teams to conceptualize digital user journeys, gather and define requirements, design and prioritize features, and work with technology and other team members on delivery
  • Understanding the needs of internal and external customers, deriving the overall product vision, leading stakeholder management, prioritizing high-level changes, and managing the backlog along the epics and features prioritized in the Quarterly Business Review (QBR)
  • Responsibility for assigned products over their life cycle and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to build the required functionality, manage dependencies across ARTs, and ensure that trade-offs and prioritization decisions are managed.
  • Managing business and senior stakeholders as partners and trusted advisors, ensuring continuous user feedback loops during agile delivery, and articulating the design, change, and implementation strategy through presentation materials.
  • Collaborate with Change Management to plan and orchestrate training activities, and create easy-to-understand training and engagement materials for customers and front office staff.
  • Establishment of proven project management practices with structure, clear roles and responsibilities, backlog refinement, etc.
  • Extracting relevant insights from online customer behavior and usability testing to continuously iterate the customer journey and improve the product experience
  • Implement a framework to drive adoption and usage and establish a feedback loop to ensure the product meets customer needs

Regulatory responsibilities and risk management

  • Collaborating with legal and compliance teams to evaluate regulatory considerations of digital solutions
  • Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviors, including, but not limited to, standards of honesty and integrity, care and diligence, fair dealing (fair treatment of customers), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, appropriate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a product owner in a financial institution, technology, or consulting company
  • Experience in defining a vision and strategy for a digital solution, product or service, and successfully managing the entire product lifecycle from ideation phase to scaling, including integrating user feedback into product requirements and prioritization
  • Familiarity with customer needs in wealth management and personal banking, good knowledge of business processes, process design, and process reengineering, particularly in the areas of channels, digital notifications, online trading, and portfolio and position management
  • Experience with product discovery and delivery of concepts for understanding user needs, identifying
