Product Owner, Data Platform & Operations (m/f/d)

3 Banken IT is seeking a Product Owner for Data Platform & Operations who will lead a team of developers and be responsible for managing data platforms and operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, knowledge of modern software architecture and the banking/financial services industry, as well as strong communication skills.

Tasks

  • Leading a development team and implementing agile project management methods
  • Ensuring stable operation and compliance with architectural and security standards
  • Optimization and further development of ETL solutions using Data Bricks and existing data pipelines to improve stability and performance
  • Responsibility for the entire software development lifecycle for these products
  • Structured processing and presentation of results for different target audiences

Requirements

  • Experience in banking or financial services, ideally in accounting
  • Understanding modern software architecture principles, interpreting specifications, and translating them into technical solutions
  • A high level of expertise combined with a confident demeanor and a clear communication style
  • Experience in project management and with agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban
  • An analytical, quality-oriented, and process-oriented approach to work
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development
  • Good knowledge of German
