Product Owner, Global Lending Platform

Tasks

• Contribute to the strengthening of the team spirit and the fostering of a collaborative work environment
• Build strong relationships with global and regional stakeholders across various departments within the Bank
• Work closely with end users to co-create a product that meets real business needs, ensuring usability and efficiency
• Work proactively with Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to ensure that regulatory requirements—such as portfolio risk—are integrated into the platform's functionality
• Support change management, release planning, and compliance with company-wide risk and regulatory standards
• Uphold integrity, due diligence, and fair dealing in accordance with our values
• Contribute to the long-term software strategy and engineering culture within GPS
• Serve as Product Owner for the digital Lombard lending platform, defining and prioritizing the product backlog for the digital lending platform, driving innovation while ensuring robustness, scalability, and regulatory compliance
• Lead and inspire a dedicated cross-functional agile team, fostering self-organization while providing clear direction, purpose, and priorities aligned with business objectives
• Apply in-depth knowledge and expertise in Lombard lending and credit risk principles to define robust product requirements, ensure accurate system behavior, and drive risk-sensitive enhancements within the digital lending platform

• Strong understanding of the Product Owner role: managing product backlogs and user stories, familiarity with agile methodologies, and knowledge of product management tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to present complex information in a clear and structured manner
• SAFe, Scrum (preferably)
• Familiarity with regulatory expectations and requirements
• Understanding of cross-border rules and regulations
