PRODUCT OWNER – INVESTMENT CONTENT PRODUCTION & DISTRIBUTION (Full-Time)
As a Product Owner for Investment Content Production and Distribution at Julius Baer in Zurich, you are responsible for developing and managing investment products and their data. Your role is to steer product development, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and meet client needs.
Tasks
- Partner with business, technology, and product specialist teams to maintain and refine product onboarding processes and classification standards
- Work closely with Legal and Compliance to assess the regulatory implications of digital solutions
- Translate customer needs into product visions; lead stakeholder engagement, prioritization, and the maintenance of a well-managed backlog that aligns with epics and features
- Take full responsibility for assigned products throughout their entire lifecycle to ensure regulatory compliance and optimal performance
- Collaborate with Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to deliver features, manage dependencies between ARTs, and make trade-off decisions
- Act as a trusted advisor to executives and senior stakeholders by presenting design and implementation strategies and incorporating ongoing user feedback
- Support change management by planning training sessions and developing accessible customer and frontline engagement materials
- Strengthen product owner practices through structured backlogs, clear responsibilities, and regular refinement
- Use behavioral analysis and usability testing to iteratively improve the customer experience
- Establish adoption frameworks and feedback loops to ensure that products meet evolving customer needs
- Uphold the bank's values and conduct by demonstrating integrity, diligence, fairness toward customers, effective management of conflicts of interest, competence, and strict compliance with all applicable rules and risk protocols
Requirements
- A solid understanding of investment products, including relevant regulations and comprehensive lifecycle management
- Familiarity with key regulatory frameworks such as MiFID II and FIDLEG
- Experience with financial data terminals (e.g., Bloomberg, Morningstar, SIX) and/or the integration of financial instrument data feeds
- A confident communicator with strong presentation skills and excellent analytical abilities; knowledge of data analysis tools, particularly Python, is a plus
