Product Owner Payment & Clearing

Entris Banking is looking for a Product Owner Payment & Clearing (80-100%) for the technical development of payment and clearing systems and responsibility for the planning and support of releases. The ideal candidate will have experience in product management in the payment industry and good knowledge of national and international payment systems.

Job description

Tasks

  • Responsible for the technical development of the payment and clearing systems in various projects in the role of Product Owner
  • Collection and consolidation of technical requirements from the area of payment transactions & clearing (SIC/SWIFT/JSEPA-ReLEASE) as well as their prioritization and preparation for the further development of processes and services
  • Responsibility for the technical planning and monitoring of releases, coordination with relevant interfaces (including project management, BA), implementation of acceptance tests including communication and ensuring a smooth operational co-live
  • Coverage of 2nd level support including technical support, solution finding and ticket management
  • Active participation in strategic and operational projects to optimize existing payment and clearing processes, taking into account regulatory and market-related changes
  • Ensuring deputization within the team for all relevant areas of responsibility

Requirements

  • University degree with a technical and/or business background or similar education
  • Several years of experience in product management in the payment industry and a good understanding of national and international payment systems (SIC/euroSIC, Swift etc.) as well as domestic and international payment transactions. Experience in supporting correspondent banks is an advantage
  • IT affinity and good understanding of processes, project experience in payment transactions
  • Hands-on, independent and precise way of working with high quality standards
  • High customer orientation and very good communication skills
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Willingness to work in the day-to-day business of administration
  • Resilient, team-oriented and open-minded personality
