Product Owner – Payments & Regulatory Compliance 100% (f/m/d)

Tasks

The tasks include:

• Coordination with the Legal, Compliance, IT Security, and Innovation teams to ensure usability, security, and regulatory compliance
• Support during UAT and regulatory testing phases to ensure that all payment controls function as intended before being rolled out into production
• Creation of scenarios and user stories

Your profiles

The following requirements apply to this position:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, information technology, business administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in payments, digital banking, or compliance at a regulated financial institution
• Deep understanding of Swiss and European ePayment regulations, including PSD2, PSD3, Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), eBill, and Instant Payments
• Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document comprehensive business requirements for payment systems
• Practical experience in designing and managing secure transaction authorization models and approval workflows
• Proven success in integrating payment solutions across multiple channels while ensuring control integrity and auditability
• Experience in conducting compliance assessments and preparing control documentation (e.g., process flows, RACI matrices, control test matrices)
• Demonstrable ability to obtain formal approvals from legal, compliance, and control functions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively with IT security, innovation, and product teams
• Fluent English is required; solid German skills are an advantage.
• Certifications such as CPP, PGP, PSPO, or CSPO are advantageous.
• Structured, detail-oriented thinking with a strong sense of personal responsibility and adaptability in an evolving regulatory environment
