Production Analyst, AVP

Tasks

As a Production Analyst, you will: * Be responsible for managing changes, infrastructure, and applications to support the delivery of critical services. * Effectively perform data analysis to create value as we evolve and transform data capabilities and applications to meet business needs, ensuring that data meets appropriate quality standards. * Offer insights to validate the exciting, fast-paced production environment in which you will operate at the Associate Vice President level. * Support the delivery of technology-based services and also support the delivery of projects and changes. * Contribute the following: * Significantly improve production to enable your business and platform domain to understand and improve performance to meet business needs. * Collaborate with product development teams to understand upcoming projects to enable integration and continuous delivery. * Regularly review future scope refinement and performance.

Requirements

We are seeking someone with technical knowledge and experience, including platform and infrastructure, as well as an understanding of technologies such as Java or Python. We are looking for: * At least 10+ years of experience in production support, with strong troubleshooting skills, analytical skills, and experience in production support/engineering. * Knowledge of production and monitoring, including setting up and maintaining HDP (Hortonworks) and operational workflows. * Knowledge and experience of cloud and on-premise platforms, with solid experience using Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS, and working with IBM Cloud and AIX. * Knowledge and experience of industry-standard tools and processes. * A key communicator who can clearly convey complex technical concepts to colleagues and supervisors.
