Product Specialist

Job description

The job description involves supporting the design, development, and lifecycle management of the company’s investment and banking products. This role combines product expertise, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the delivery of innovative, compliant, customer-centric, and operationally sound solutions across structured products, funds, deposits, payments, credit products, and digital banking services.

key tasks

• Support in the development and enhancement of investment products such as structured bonds, mutual funds, and customized solutions.
• Support in the development and improvement of banking products, including checking and savings accounts, time deposits, loan solutions, and payment services.
• Conducting market and competitive analyses of investment and banking products to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
• Preparation of business plans, product documentation, approval materials, and product updates for internal governance processes.

Operational and Digital Enablement / Portfolio and Risk Support

• Collaborate with operational, technology, digital, and external partners to ensure the smooth implementation and ongoing support of banking and investment products. Contribute to the digital transformation of investment and banking solutions through mobile and online platforms.
• Monitoring product performance, customer feedback, and operational metrics; recommending improvements as needed.
• Liaise with internal and external portfolio managers to support investment decisions, including monitoring asset allocation and assisting with portfolio rebalancing in accordance with client investment guidelines.
• Acting as the first line of defense in risk management for investment and banking products to ensure compliance with operational and regulatory standards.

Employee collaboration

• Work closely with legal, compliance, risk, operations, technology, and finance teams to support product delivery.
• Partnering with relationship managers, bankers, and client advisors to gather feedback and improve offerings related to investment and banking products.
• Participate in cross-functional working groups, governance forums, and project teams to support product initiatives and bring products to market.

Compliance and Documentation

• Ensuring compliance with BSANML, AML, KYC, BSA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and product records, and supporting audit, risk, and compliance reviews.
• Monitoring and reporting on risk indicators, performance metrics, and operational controls related to investment and banking products.

Requirements

• Degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in investment product support, bank product management, digital banking, or related financial services roles.
