In your new role, you will prepare, manage, and report on project plans, controls, and resource plans to ensure that we deliver projects to predetermined business benefits and effectively engage all relevant stakeholders to implement and hand over change. In addition, you will build and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders at various levels and in various functions. You will also lead a team of external suppliers and work closely with Supply Chain Services to select the appropriate suppliers from our framework. You will also:- Lead and strengthen a large team, often across multiple geographic regions, throughout the entire project cycle
- Identify, track, monitor, and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies
- Lead and define a project initiation document and ensure that the solution clearly supports and aligns with our strategic goals.
- Track project costs and ensure that the project is completed within the allocated budget.
The necessary skills
You should have appropriate project management qualifications and experience in change management. You should also have experience in delivering strategic projects that support business strategy and growth plans. You should also:- Have a deep knowledge of trading platforms, asset classes, and the ability to translate business requirements into precise, manageable technical requirements without assuming escalation.
- Experience in agile delivery, risk and dependency clarification, understanding of systems, data, and APIs, and the ability to work in high-speed environments with strong attention to detail, curiosity, and the ability to synthesize complex inputs into a coherent delivery plan.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to simplify complexity for non-technical partners and work with technical teams
