Project Manager - Security Architecture

Job description

Tasks

  • Architectures that are used by several business systems or application systems.
  • Comprehensive, in-depth technical consulting for customers, partners and IT management to develop plans and directions for the integration of business unit requirements.
  • Acts as a cybersecurity expert for cloud migration projects/programs.
  • Leads cloud security and architecture.
  • Understands the decision-making processes in the selection of technologies, such as design, data security, client-server communication, etc.
  • Works with management to build new and ongoing supplier relationships.
  • Evaluates and selects from existing and new technologies those that best fit the business requirements.
  • Promotes the exchange of expertise through advice, presentations and documentation, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and experience in information security or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Deep knowledge of application system or infrastructure architectures, typically with experience in multiple system technologies.
  • Excellent consultative and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers, partners and IT management and staff.
  • Five years of experience in cyber security projects.
  • PMP, CISSP, CISM or cloud security certification preferred.
  • Strong collaboration and analytical skills.

Requirements/responsibilities

  • Must have experience in project management and governance, experience managing cyber security projects in an enterprise environment is required.
  • Must be highly organized and collaborative with the ability to navigate through the business to deliver.
  • Good understanding of threat management, data protection, encryption, authentication/authorization, access management, vulnerability management systems, attack surface management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure/AWS, AWS, hybrid and multi-cloud systems.
  • Very good understanding of Zero Trust architecture and experience with relevant tools/technologies.
  • Knowledge of network architecture concepts, including topology, protocols, firewalls, load balancers, IPS/IDS, WAF, app proxy, CDN, SElM and components.
  • Very good understanding of concepts related to DevSecOps, AI/ML, Docker, Containers, Serverless Computing and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, automation of cloud-based systems and relevant tools.
  • Experience with teams working on infrastructure components such as networks, storage systems, directory services and virtualization.
  • Experience with various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, Unix and MAC.
