Project Manager (m/f) Full-time
Glarner Kantonalbank is seeking a Project Manager (m/f) to lead strategically important projects in the field of project management. The ideal candidate will have a degree in business informatics or a banking apprenticeship with relevant additional training, as well as solid professional experience in project management.
Tasks
- Management of strategically important projects—from planning and analysis through implementation to handover
- Responsibility for ensuring that projects meet their quality, schedule, and financial objectives
- Ensuring communication within the project and with management
- Preparation of potential analyses, solution concepts, specifications, and project plans
- Actively contributing ideas, new products, and suggestions for improvement (including the optimization of processes and procedures)
- Advising and supporting employees on project-related matters
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business informatics or a completed banking apprenticeship with relevant continuing education in business informatics
- Substantial professional experience in project management, ideally in the banking or financial sector with a focus on IT projects
- Specific training in project management is desirable
- Analytical, conceptual, and strategic thinking skills
- A high degree of personal responsibility and a solution-oriented approach
- Excellent communication skills (native-level German) at all levels
