Project Manager, Operational Infrastructure & Automation

The Swiss National Bank is looking for a Project Manager for Operational Infrastructure & Automation in the Cash Division in Bern. The position involves managing and supporting complex infrastructure and automation projects, drawing up specifications, and ensuring results-oriented project planning.

Project Manager, Operational Infrastructure & Automation (80% - 100%)

Your contribution

  • Leading and supporting complex infrastructure and automation projects in the cash sector;
  • Developing specifications with the specialist departments;
  • Ensuring results-oriented project planning (quality, costs, deadlines, and risks);
  • Ensuring project standards (e.g., controlling, IT, real estate, and services);
  • Preparing appropriate decision-making bases for stakeholders (e.g., project team, steering group);
  • Conceptual development of principles and standards for project management.

Your knowledge and experience

  • Completed higher technical education (e.g., engineering degree from a university of applied sciences); additional degree in business administration; practical further training (NDS, specialist courses) in process development or supply chain management is an advantage;
  • Several years of experience in the industrial and service sector, ideally with construction and logistics projects;
  • High level of analytical and problem-solving skills; proven ability to negotiate skillfully;
  • Proficient in MS Office and SharePoint.
  • Communication in German or French appropriate to the target group or level with a good understanding of the other national language and business fluent in English.
