Proxy Voting, Operations Analyst

Job Profile Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented person to join our proxy voting team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in investment operations and learn about a high-profile area of the industry. You will support the entire proxy voting process and work closely with team members to ensure the accurate and timely execution of voting activities across Man Group’s accounts.

Relevant tasks

* Proxy voting support: Support for the day-to-day management of proxy voting activities, including ballot monitoring, preparation of voting instructions, and execution via relevant platforms * Platform operations: Developing expertise in proxy voting platforms (e.g., Glass Lewis or equivalent), ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of system data and processes * Workflow support: Supporting voting workflows to ensure deadlines are met and issues are escalated in a timely manner * Data Quality: Assisting with vote tabulation, exception handling, and maintaining accurate records and audit trails of all proxy voting activities * Compliance: Supporting compliance activities with applicable regulatory requirements and client mandates, and flagging actions for senior management * Reporting: Contributing to the preparation of internal and client-facing voting reports and management information * Process Improvement: Participating in initiatives to improve operational efficiency and supporting the standardization of procedures and controls

Experience and qualifications

* No prior experience in the financial services sector required—a genuine interest in investment operations and financial markets is essential * Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines * Excellent IT skills * Methodical and process-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and risk awareness * Eager to learn and develop expertise in a specialized operational role * A good communicator who is comfortable collaborating with internal teams and external partners * A self-starter and team player with a cooperative attitude, flexible and adaptable, with the ability to prioritize effectively while on the job
