Public Distribution Sales, GPS, 100% (f/m/d)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking an experienced sales professional for its Public Distribution Sales division to expand sales efforts for structured financial products and strengthen the Julius Baer brand. The ideal candidate will have 5–10+ years of experience in public distribution, strong communication skills, and a solid background in finance.
Tasks
- Optimization of product architecture based on customer needs, margin considerations, and issuers' competitiveness
- Close collaboration with the sales departments, particularly the external and internal sales teams
- Coordination with retail networks, financial advisors, and digital platforms to maximize reach
- Increase Julius Baer’s visibility as an issuer of structured products through contributions to articles and participation in panel discussions, industry events, trade shows, etc.
- Further Development of the Julius Baer Derivatives Portal
Customer engagement
- Training sales partners and end customers on product features, benefits, and risks
- Ongoing support and training to ensure proper understanding and compliance with regulations
- Ensuring compliance with Swiss and cross-border regulations (e.g., prospectus requirements, KID/KIIID, marketing restrictions)
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and risk management teams to ensure robust controls in the context of public distribution
- Monitoring changes in regulations and adjusting sales strategies accordingly
Market Analysis and Reporting
- Using data analytics to assess customer behavior, product profitability, and sales effectiveness
- Translating market information into actionable product and sales recommendations
- Contribution to strategic initiatives in the area of structured products and comprehensive wealth management services
Your qualifications
- A proven team player with strong communication skills, ready to work in an entrepreneurial environment
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- 5–10+ years of experience in public sector sales, particularly in Switzerland
- German (required), English, other languages a plus
- Master's degree in finance or a related field
