About the job
We are looking for an experienced Python Associate Engineer to join our Risk Platform team. In this role, you will work on the development and implementation of risk management solutions.
Tasks
- Taking charge of the end-to-end delivery process, from requirements gathering to development, testing, and coordinating deployment for production
- Participation in the planning, design, and implementation of long-term projects
- Participation in code reviews and knowledge sharing to support colleagues
- Collaborating with stakeholders to successfully process requests
- Continuous improvement of production software, e.g., reduction of technical debt, increase in release quality, and improvement in resource utilization
- Contribute to the continuous adoption of best practices and improvement of business knowledge and understanding within the team
- Support for production systems and BAU inquiries
Requirements
Required skills
- Strong focus on delivery; delivery of high-quality solutions within tight deadlines
- Python development with a deep understanding of data structures
- Familiarity with Linux environments
- Familiarity with event-driven programming and programming languages
- Ability to balance business delivery and incremental adoption of new architecture platform features
- Professional in automation—including scripting, tools, and interfaces
- Confident communication – able to explain a point precisely and deal positively with conflicting opinions
- Comfortable communicating with business partners (risk managers) and understanding and working with corporate technology solutions
Advantages
