QA Automation Engineer

Job description

Tasks

• Design and build comprehensive regression test packs using Testharness and other automation frameworks
• Improving and expanding regression test certification processes, increasing test coverage and improving efficiency
• Development of automation solutions for stress tests, scenario management and error handling
• Work with Market Connectivity and EMS implementation teams on improvements to certification tools
• Expansion of simulator capabilities and integration with the trading ecosystem
• Design and development of test best practices for the entire execution platform
• Support for production tests and test certification requirements

Requirements

Key competencies

• Strong analytical skills to identify test gaps and causes of errors
• Practical contributions to the design and development of test automation
• Proactive approach to process improvement and automation
• Ability to work independently while supporting team goals
• Proficiency in Java/C and environments
• Experience with test planning and performance validation
• Experience with Kafka/Cassandra/Python communication (preferred)
• Knowledge of the FIX protocol and FIX messaging (preferred)
• C++ and SQL (required/favored)
• Understanding of financial markets and trading systems (preferred)
