Job description

As a Lead Quality Assurance Analyst in our Control Management Organization, you will play a key role in monitoring and testing compliance with policies and procedures to support our client advisors and control/support functions. You will be part of our Geneva QA team and will develop strategies, enhance detective controls, and deliver high-quality results that support our commitment to operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

Tasks

As a Lead Quality Assurance Analyst, you will:
  • Conduct quality assurance tests against established criteria
  • Develop expertise in the field of investment products and regulatory requirements
  • Analyze disputes and their causes and provide recommendations for corrective actions
  • Work with business partners to present quality assurance results, analyze disputes, and handle escalations
  • Participate in discussions with Compliance, Internal Controls, Internal Audit, and other stakeholders regarding risk issues
  • Monitor the control and operating environment for changes that affect quality assurance tests
  • Propose and implement improvements to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of services and systems
  • Participate in ad hoc projects or targeted reviews
  • Present business results to senior managers and provide training, performance reports, and trend analyses to LOB management teams
  • Proactively identify potential issues and drive process improvements
  • Build strong partnerships with internal and external clients

Requirements

Required qualifications, skills, and knowledge:
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in oversight roles such as auditing, quality assurance, operations, risk and control management, or related roles at banks, Big 4 firms, or other financial institutions
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills; able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to act as a team leader and drive broader team strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with the industry, business processes, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet demanding deadlines while priorities shift
  • Experience in risk and control management
  • A high degree of professionalism, self-motivation, and a sense of urgency

Preferred qualifications

Preferred qualifications, skills, and knowledge:
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis
  • Experience in private banking or wealth management
  • Knowledge of German, Spanish, Italian, or Greek is a plus
