About the role

We are looking for a motivated, eager to learn, hardworking and independent individual to join our growing QA/Financial Engineering team in Lisbon. As a Quality Assurance Financial Engineer, you will have a unique and exciting opportunity to join a young and dynamic company committed to providing value-added services in the investment product space. You will be part of the Projects department and work closely with the IT Development and Business Analysis teams as well as our Quality Assurance experts.

Tasks

• Ensuring the regression of the Leonteq application landscape: from pricing to documentation.
• Creation of the next test plan with business analysts and end users.
• Extension of existing test plans through specification for developers or coding of own Python procedures.
• Central coordination point for the release signoff process in collaboration with various Leonteq teams, including development, release management and test automation teams.

Requirements

• Scientific background (MSc)
• Desire to learn about financial markets and quality assurance.
• Affinity for IT.
• Knowledge of Excel and/or Python
• Good level of English

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of financial markets and products
• Knowledge of modeling for financial products
• Previous experience with IT software (coding, database queries)
• Relevant certifications in testing, IT or finance
