Job description: Quality Assurance Financial Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated, eager to learn, hardworking and independent individual to join our growing QA/Financial Engineering team in Lisbon. As a Quality Assurance Financial Engineer, you will have a unique and exciting opportunity to join a young and dynamic company committed to providing value-added services in the investment product space.

Tasks

• Ensuring the regression of the Leonteq application landscape: from pricing to documentation.
• Creation of the next test plan with business analysts and end users.
• Extension of existing test plans through specification to developers or coding of own Python procedures.
• Central coordination point for the release signoff process, working with various Leonteq teams including development, release management and test automation teams.

Requirements

• Scientific background (MSc).
• Desire to learn about financial markets and quality assurance.
• Affinity for IT.
• Knowledge of Excel and/or Python.
• Good English.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of financial markets and products.
• Knowledge of modeling for financial products.
• Previous experience with IT software (coding, database queries).
• Relevant certifications in testing, IT or finance.
