Job Description

Join the fast-paced and dynamic JPM Suisse Private Bank Client Operations team to onboard new clients, maintain existing accounts and drive best practices whilst ensuring we adhere to regulatory requirements.

The Quality Control Team is part of the wider Client Operations team, with a particular focus on ensuring adherence to regulatory Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) requirements.

As a Quality Control Analyst within the Quality Control team, you will play a key role in:

  • performing a quality review of client KYC profiles and client documentation as part of the onboarding process for each new client and on a regular basis for existing clients;
  • analyzing complex account opening cases and assessing potential risks;
  • partnering with the Onboarding Officer and Risk/Controls team to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform quality review of New Account Openings and KYC Periodic Reviews in a timely and efficient manner, with the highest standards of quality and care, and ensuring that the business is compliant with all Bank policies and regulatory/legal requirements globally
  • Ensure that documentation requirements are met and perform Anti-Money Laundering checks
  • Follow up on all outstanding issues/escalations with relevant parties in the Bank including the Risk/Controls team
  • Provide guidance, advice and training to other teams with the business on an ad-hoc basis

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Compliance or Law
  • Familiarity with Swiss Law, Swiss banks' code of conduct with regard to the exercise of due diligence (CDB/OBA and other regulatory topics
  • Experience or knowledge of KYC / AML requirements
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail with ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and in teams
  • Fluency in English mandatory
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, in particular with Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Fluency in French, German, Spanish, Arabic or Portuguese would also be a strong advantage
  • Understanding of wealth management structures and documentation requirements
