Quality & FinOps Manager (m/f/x)

La Vaudoise is seeking a Quality & FinOps Manager (80–100%) in Lausanne to define the strategy for reducing technical debt and implement the FinOps framework. The candidate, who should have at least five years of experience in software quality and cloud environments, will be responsible for improving the quality and efficiency of the insurance company’s IT processes.

The tasks that await you:

  • Define and formalize a comprehensive strategy for reducing technical debt, taking into account the teams' constraints
  • Identify, quantify, and prioritize the components of technical debt across all of the company's applications and cloud solutions
  • Develop and maintain a clear application obsolescence roadmap based on technologies (frameworks, libraries, languages, systems, platforms)
  • Ensure the implementation and integration of the FinOps framework within the company's products
  • Explore options for decommissioning applications in coordination with the relevant teams
  • Ensure that these processes are effectively adopted by the application teams by tailoring the approaches to each team's specific context
  • Support teams as a coach and quality advisor by leading training, awareness-raising, and feedback sessions
  • Define and track KPIs for quality and technical debt, and present them to management during progress meetings
  • Ensure technical coordination in partnership with security functions, aligning with quality and delivery objectives
  • Maintain ongoing cross-functional quality control over the entire strategy and delivery results

Votre profil :

  • Advanced education in computer science, such as a degree from a university of applied sciences (HES), a bachelor's or master's degree, or a degree from EPFL
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in a role related to software quality (application, infrastructure)
  • Proficiency in Implementing the FinOps Framework in an Enterprise Setting, Intermediate Certificate, Part of the FinOps Certified Professional Certification
  • Extensive experience managing complex application environments in enterprise cloud environments
  • Proficiency in addressing technical debt, obsolescence, and agile practices (Scrum)
  • A solid understanding of service-oriented architectures, application security issues, and the software development lifecycle
  • Natural leadership and the ability to bring together multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and outreach skills, both with management and with technical teams
  • Good command of French and English, both written and spoken
