Job description

The Quant Developer position involves developing and maintaining data pipelines, creating AI-powered tools for investment teams, and contributing to the strategic data platform.

Tasks

The tasks include:

Development, architecture, and maintenance of data pipelines using Pandas, Polars, and internal libraries
Development and maintenance of AI-powered tools for investment teams and research data pipelines
Contribute to the strategic data platform, including data ingestion, storage, and processing
Development and maintenance of data products and flagship products using shared computing resources
Deploying pipelines to end users, managing DAGs for data warehouse and data workflows
Collaborating with engineers in London and San Francisco on cross-team initiatives

Requirements

The requirements include:

2+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a strong track record of successful project deliveries
Experience with Python, ZeroMQ, Kafka, databases, TypeScript, and GCP design patterns
Python/ZeroMQ Proficiency: Efficient Data Pipelines and Transformations at Scale
Al/LLM experience (or integration of LLM-based solutions)
Fixed Technical Depth: Systems + Tools, Integration Tests
Strong communication skills: explaining technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders
Self-directed: Manage priorities, report obstacles early on, and complete work with minimal supervision
Degree in a STEM field or equivalent practical experience
