Quant Researcher
The Quant Researcher develops and improves quantitative investment strategies for the Strategic Alpha Research team and supports the implementation of trading and execution processes. The focus is on analyzing data, creating models and implementing results.
Job description: Quant Researcher
Tasks
- Development and improvement of quantitative investment strategies on the financial markets within the Strategic Alpha Research Team (SARS)
- Support for all strategies from alpha generation to trade execution and implementation
- Collaborate with other team members to create and execute new and existing strategies
- Identification of new investment ideas through data analysis
- Data collection and testing for execution and performance statistics
- Creation and refinement of models
- Implementation of the results
- Contribution to research initiatives and aspects of investment strategies such as trading and market risk, tax models, optimization and portfolio construction
Requirements
- Passion for investment research with strong instincts and the ability to think outside the box
- Strong understanding of big data research and proven expertise in the use of quality
- Excellent quantitative skills with a focus on econometrics or statistics and extensive experience in using these skills in empirical research
- Strong programming skills to work with large and complex data using statistical tools (Python preferred)
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
- Previous investment experience is a strong advantage
