Quantitative Analyst, Risk
As a Quantitative Analyst Risk you will be responsible for the development and implementation of analytical tools and models to assess portfolio risks and factor exposures. You will support the Investment Risk team in identifying and proactively managing risks and work closely with stakeholders and investment teams.

Tasks
- Maintain and evolve our Python-based analytics platform, which is used daily to assess portfolio risks, factor exposures and signal balance
- Support stakeholder needs through the delivery of scheduled reports, board materials, data and ad-hoc analysis; with a strong focus on automation
- Develop, implement and evolve complex resources to accelerate throughput and reduce manual workflows
- Collaborate with control functions, investment teams and various risk stakeholders to build relationships and impact decision making
- Build tools that enable faster insight generation, including:
- Portfolio valuation dashboards
- Risk decomposition utilities
- Interactive visualization platforms
- Model-based analytics
Requirements
- Background in computer science, applied mathematics, engineering, physics or similar
- Fluent in coding, ideally with Python, and proficient with SQL, ideally with some experience in R or automation
- Familiarity with the use and navigation of a Linux/Unix environment
- Ability to quickly distill information into actionable recommendations
- Ability to build systems that scale
- Ability to ensure data quality, integrity and consistency over time
- Intrinsic motivation and appetite for learning
