Quantitative Portfolio Implementation Analyst
The Quantitative Portfolio Implementation Analyst works at the intersection of quantitative research, portfolio management, technology, and trading to support the day-to-day operations of portfolio management and ensure that portfolios are executed correctly. The analyst works closely with portfolio managers, investment engineers, strategists, and traders to ensure that portfolios are implemented with precision and in line with their investment objectives.
Tasks
The role of Quantitative Portfolio Implementation Analyst includes the following responsibilities:- Implementation of high-quality, real-time changes to the investment and trading environment, including the introduction of new quantitative research, the launch of new products, the management of client and other constraints, and the identification of systemic issues and strategies
- Planning and coordinating the investment process for new funds and complex SMA launches to ensure clear accountability across front-office and back-office units
- Modification and Implementation of the New Operating Model for Equity Market Neutral, Equity Long Only, and Fixed Income for IID Boston
- Conduct daily portfolio monitoring, manage compliance and restriction updates, and facilitate the pre-trade order setup and allocation of portfolios to managers
- Management and coordination of daily client flows (imbalances, allocations) in close collaboration with Portfolio Management
- Primary response to production and trade issues across the systematic investment management platform
- Support for the development of AI and portfolio construction capabilities, using systematic trading tools; increasingly also AI and agent workflows to leverage automation for non-routine management tasks

- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced and uncertain environment
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
