Quantitative Researcher - PM Analytics
As a Quantitative Researcher in the Portfolio Analytics team, you will be responsible for creating actionable insights based on data analysis and modeling. You will work closely with other teams to support data-driven decisions and optimize the company's investment strategies.

Tasks
- Working with and analyzing large amounts of data
- Development of analytics, KPIs, metrics
- Carrying out research to inform investment decisions
- Writing code, extracting insights and building reporting mechanisms
- Provide actionable insights to AIM and effectively utilize these insights to generate cross-functional learnings and synergies
Requirements
Essential
- Expertise in a high-level language, ideally Python
- Excellent analytical skills, recognized by colleagues as an expert in your field
- Good understanding of statistics and/or ability to learn quickly
- Proficiency in Python/SQL/R or similar languages
Advantageous
- 2-5 years of experience in an investment bank or similar environment
- Strong background in rigorous research and/or portfolio construction
- Experience in portfolio management, systematic trading or data science
- Proficiency in Linux, SQL, Excel, R, VBA
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as pandas
Personal characteristics
- Strong academic background and degree with high mathematical, statistical and computational content (e.g. mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics or physics from a leading university)
- Ability to think creatively and pay attention to detail
- Known interest or experience in financial markets
- Experience in building, testing with data and explaining complex ideas and projects to company executives
- Results with a data-driven analytical approach to problem solving and positive attitude
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple projects and with competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to establish and maintain close working relationships with quantitative research teams and partners
- Recent experience in dealing with complex software systems and platforms
- Confident communication; able to argue a point convincingly and deal positively with conflicting views
