Quantitative Trader/Trading Engineer

Tasks

• Drive the development and implementation of best-in-class systematic crypto investment strategies with a focus on momentum, volatility, and market neutral arbitrage strategies.
• Drive the implementation of automated trading systems, including trade integrations with relevant trading venues.
• Drive the continuous improvement of our quantitative analytics frameworks.
• Collaborate with analysts to understand and implement trading algorithms, ensuring that they are consistent with the trading infrastructure and trade execution.
• Execution and monitoring of daily trading activities.
• Drive the implementation of 24/7 risk management and alert systems.
• Supporting the investment team in managing risk exposure by implementing effective risk management strategies and leveraging market insights to capitalize on trading opportunities.
• Conducting comprehensive quantitative market analyses, using on-chain and off-chain metrics for various protocols, sectors, and the entire crypto market, alongside traditional financial metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative finance, applied mathematics, physics, computer science, or engineering. A master's degree or certificates (e.g., CFA, CAIA) are an advantage.
• At least 5+ years of experience in quantitative trading, systematic portfolio management, or market making, ideally with 2+ years in crypto.
• Advanced coding skills to build and maintain trading infrastructure and real-time data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and decentralized applications such as DeFi, including analysis tools and APIs (Dune, Flipside, Token Terminal).
• Previous experience in hedge funds, prop trading firms, or market makers is an advantage.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, strong written and spoken English skills to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Collaborative team player with a passion for crypto and investment management.
