Reconciliation Specialist

Reconciliation Specialist 80-100% (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Investigating and resolving discrepancies or differences between internal records and external statements, such as bank statements or deposit reports
• Analyze and investigate exceptions or unusual items identified during the reconciliation process and escalate to management as needed
• Assess and escalate issues and ensure appropriate monitoring of differences by the functions they own
• Apply product knowledge to set up the correct rules for the data and Swift feeds into the reconciliation toolset
• Collaborate and work closely with other teams to ensure that all transactions are properly accounted for and that issues are resolved promptly
• Develop, maintain and update procedures and checklists to ensure that reconciliations are carried out efficiently and effectively
• Identification of process improvement opportunities and implementation of process steps
• Meeting deadlines for reconciliations and delivering high quality results in a fast-paced environment
