Regional Business Manager Emerging Markets

The Regional Business Manager Emerging Markets is responsible for the conceptual development of projects and initiatives in the region and coordinates communication with various stakeholders. The position is limited to 11 months and offers full-time employment at Julius Baer in Zurich.

Job description

Tasks

  • Contribute as a business representative in the conceptual development of projects, initiatives and activities, execute related data requests and manage subsequent implementation in the region
  • Preparation, implementation and coordination of various checks and adjustments
  • Development, coordination and implementation of communication concepts with key content and material management for regular and ad-hoc business tasks and requirements from the regional senior management teams, business units as well as departmental stakeholders and functional partners. This includes business and data analysis for concept development and reporting as well as presentations
  • Proactive and autonomous management of regular and ad-hoc management and administrative tasks
  • Organization of regional management committees, management workshops and town halls
  • Collaboration and coordination with various stakeholders across the bank to represent the interests of the region

Requirements

Professional skills:

  • Relevant higher education
  • Relevant experience in the financial industry, preferably in a global bank
  • In-depth knowledge of the private banking industry in general and deep understanding of the front-line perspective in particular

  • Flexible and resilient team player with integrity and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Highly motivated, solution-oriented professional with a can-do attitude and the ability to multi-task, fully focused on top results
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, high attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture
