Job Title: Regional Head of Production Services for Trade Processing and Risk, Corporate Title: Vice President, Department: Wholesale Production Services - Technology, Location: London (Hybrid)

Tasks

Leading a critical regional team in EMEA, driving technological innovation while managing complex production environments to support critical trading applications. Shaping the future of our production services through strong technical leadership and hands-on technical expertise.

Requirements

• Proven experience within Production Support at major investment bank(s)
• Proven leadership and team management skills (with multiple concurrent resources)
• Proven ability to attract, retain, and promote talent within the team
• Experience of co-locating junior members of the Production Services team to cultivate junior talent
• Proven ability to measure and increase performance using various metrics
• Working knowledge of fixed income and FX products
• Working knowledge of the trade lifecycle
• Thorough understanding of market data
• Understanding and experience with trade valuation, profit and loss, and risk
• Experience leading across IT function and business stakeholders across Trading, Sales, Middle Office, and Compliance
• Experience supporting large enterprise applications
• Strong proficiency in infrastructure management skills including Linux, databases, middleware, and networks
• Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux)
• Good working knowledge of databases and writing SQL queries
• Experience with similar platforms for incident, change, request, and problem management
• Experience with modern software development practices, including agile methodologies
• Understanding of agile principles and practices
• Scripting skills, e.g., shell scripting, Python, Perl
• Experience with supporting and automating DevOps tools as part of the deployment pipeline (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker, Elastic, Jira, etc.)
