Regulatory Change Manager
The Regulatory Change Manager is responsible for designing, planning, and implementing change processes related to regulatory requirements, while assessing the impact on people, culture, technology, and processes. The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of experience in regulatory change, compliance, or consulting and possesses a strong understanding of the Monegasque regulatory framework and European regulatory environment.
Tasks
- Produce regular regulatory reports and alerts for senior management and stakeholders - Maintain a centralized repository of applicable regulations and updates - Regulatory Impact Analysis: Analyze new and evolving regulations (including, but not limited to, EMIR, MiFID II, Payments/PSD2/PDD3, AML/CFT, etc.) - Assessing the impact on business operations, customer offerings, processes, and systems - Providing clear, actionable recommendations and prioritization - Regulatory Change Management: Leading the implementation of regulatory changes (gap analysis, design, execution) - Translating regulatory requirements into business and functional requirements - Coordinating across functions with compliance, operations, IT, and front-office teams in Monaco, Luxembourg, and Switzerland - Ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of regulatory projects - Governance & Stakeholder Engagement: Defining and maintaining a regulatory change governance framework - Presenting key regulatory developments and implementation status to senior management and committees - Acting as a trusted advisor to business departments on regulatory matters - Policies, Controls & Documentation: Ensuring that policies, procedures, and internal controls are updated in line with regulatory changesRequirements
- Master’s degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field - 7–10+ years of experience in regulatory change, compliance, or advisory roles within the private banking or financial services sector - Strong knowledge of the Monegasque regulatory environment and European regulatory frameworks (EMIR, MiFID II, PSD2, AML/CFT, etc.) - Proven experience in establishing or managing a regulatory monitoring functionSkills and competencies
- Fluent in French and English - Strong regulatory interpretation and analytical skills - Ability to translate regulatory developments into business implications - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Structured project management and a focus on delivery - High degree of autonomy, rigor, and attention to detailWe offer
