Tasks

  • Collaborate with the Lead IT and Data Strategy to align the implementation of data governance frameworks with regulatory requirements and expectations (e.g. FINMA, GDPR, DORA)
  • Identification and analysis of relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. FINMA, GDPR, DORA) that affect data management and governance
  • Tracking and interpreting regulatory developments in connection with data management and governance (e.g. FINMA, DORA) and mapping them in the documentation and governance model
  • Support in the implementation and continuous improvement of the data governance framework (e.g. data ownership model, data stewardship, data quality controls)
  • Development, maintenance and updating of documentation in connection with data governance and regulatory compliance (e.g. guidelines, standards, procedures, process flows, control descriptions)
  • Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of internal controls related to data lifecycle management
  • Preparation of materials for internal/external audits and regulatory reviews

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements (GDPR, FINMA, DORA) with regard to data management and governance principles in the financial or crypto sector
  • Experience of creating, reviewing and managing formal documentation in regulated environments
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a part-time role
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
