Regulatory Liquidity Reporting Controller (Vice President)
The position of Regulatory Liquidity Reporting Controller (Vice President) at Nomura in London involves responsibility for validating and submitting regulatory liquidity reports (including those for the PRA, EBA, and JFSA) for the European consolidated group. The focus is on managing weekly and quarterly reporting, process automation, and close collaboration with the Treasury and IT departments.
Tasks
- Responsibility for preparing daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports that support external and internal regulatory reporting for the European consolidated group (including the primary brokerage firms in London, Mumbai, and Tokyo).
- Close collaboration with colleagues at Nomura Overseas Entities.
- Validation and submission of numerous PRA, EBA, and JFSA reports, both internally and externally, on a quarterly basis, including DEL, LCR, ALMM, NSFR, and asset encumbrance.
- Management of the weekly review, verification, and submission process for PRA PL110 reporting.
- Supporting the Mumbai team in preparing all regulatory liquidity reports.
- Explanation of significant variances and trends through the provision of comments.
- Improving automation and control.
- Maintenance and review of procedures and processes for end-to-end liquidity reporting.
- Support in developing new management information (MI) systems and controls to improve the timeliness and accuracy of regulatory reporting.
- Assistance with the interpretation, implementation, and review of PRA, EBA, and other regulatory guidelines.
- Serves as a central point of contact between regulatory reporting, treasury liquidity, and IT.
