Regulatory Liquidity Reporting Controller (Vice President)

As Vice President of Regulatory Liquidity Reporting at Nomura in London, you will be responsible for validating, reviewing, and finalizing regulatory liquidity reports (PRA, EBA, JSA) for the EMEA region. The role involves managing daily through quarterly reporting processes, collaborating with various internal teams, and improving automation and control mechanisms related to regulatory reporting.

Tasks

  • Validate and submit numerous PRA, EBA, and JSA reports internally and externally on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, including PRA110, LCR, ALMM, NSFR, and asset encumbrance reporting
  • Manage the weekly review, challenge, and submission process for the consolidated regulatory filings (EBA LCR, NSFR, and ALMM)
  • Supporting the team in Mumbai in preparing all regulatory liquidity reports
  • Explanation of significant deviations and trends through the preparation of comments
  • Proposing changes and overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for IT systems to improve automation and control
  • Identifying and Reporting Serious Exceptions and Resolving Data Issues
  • Maintenance and Review of Procedures and Protocols for End-to-End Regulatory Reporting
  • Support in developing new management information (MI) systems and controls to improve the timeliness and accuracy of regulatory reporting
  • Assistance with the interpretation, guidance, and review of PRA, EBA, and FSFA liquidity regulations in collaboration with the EMEA Liquidity Risk Policy Group
  • Serve as a key point of contact between Regulatory Reporting, Treasury Liquidity Management, change/project teams, Regulatory Policy, and IT
