The role of Regulatory Reporting Analyst within the CFO function requires a solid understanding of prudential regulations and reporting processes, as well as primary responsibility for the accurate and timely completion of assigned Swiss and international regulatory reports.Tasks and responsibilities
The role involves the following tasks:- Preparation and submission of regulatory reports (e.g., capital adequacy, LCR, NSFR, statistical reports)
- Implementation of processes to ensure reporting
- Analysis of complex financial structures to determine the appropriate regulatory treatment
- Assessment of new and upcoming regulatory changes
- Implementation of regulatory and IT changes within reporting
- Advising and collaborating with colleagues in other roles
Requirements
The role requires:- At least a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related quantitative field
- Typically 6–10 years of experience in the private banking or financial services industry in regulatory reporting, financial accounting, risk management, or auditing
- Advanced understanding of the regulatory landscape and relevant tools (e.g., Basel III, FINMA Circulars, Mercury, OneSumX)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Mercury, practical experience with SQL, and knowledge of VBA or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) are a plus
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in French is a significant advantage
