The role of Regulatory Reporting Analyst involves responsibility for the accurate and timely preparation of Swiss and international regulatory reports (e.g., capital adequacy, LCR, NSFR, statistical reports) within the CFO function.Tasks and responsibilities
The main duties and responsibilities include:- Developing and preparing regulatory reports to ensure that they are submitted in full and accurately by the regulatory deadlines.
- Implementation and maintenance of IT solutions for one’s own reporting area, identification of required inputs, and coordination with relevant stakeholders to meet monthly and quarterly deadlines.
- Ensuring that processes and documentation for assigned reports are sustainable and audit-ready, and identifying opportunities to streamline procedures in line with the department’s medium-term goals for automation and operational excellence.
Requirements
The requirements for this role include:- At least a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent professional experience in the financial sector.
- Typically 6–10 years of experience in the private banking or financial sector in regulatory reporting, financial accounting, risk management, or auditing.
- An advanced understanding of the regulatory environment and relevant tools (e.g., Basel III, FINMA Circulars, Mercury, OneSumX) and how these requirements are translated into data and reporting processes.
