As a Transaction Reporting Analyst in our Regulatory Reporting team, you will play a vital role in ensuring complete, timely, and accurate reporting across the UK, Europe, Switzerland, Singapore, and Hong Kong. You will leverage your analytical skills and regulatory knowledge to interpret complex regulations and deliver high-impact solutions. Working within a collaborative and diverse team, you will help us navigate significant regulatory changes and drive innovation in our reporting processes. - Manage and resolve issues or inquiries in the inventory of regulatory reports
- Interpret and transform regulations into clear business requirements documents
- Apply reporting rules to specific business activities to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Collaborate with upstream business teams to deliver complete, timely, and accurate data to global regulatory authorities
- Partner with teams in Edinburgh, Geneva, and Bangalore, working closely with compliance, control, project, and governance stakeholders.
- Analyze large data sets to identify trends, gain insights, and deliver regular reports to senior stakeholders.
- Critically review and question interpretations and applications of transaction reporting regulations.
- Prioritize and execute multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse target groups
- Foster strong relationships and collaborate across global stakeholder groups
Requirements
- Experience in transaction or regulatory reporting with a solid understanding of EMIR, MiFIR II, FMiA, or similar regulations
- Demonstrable ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate resilience in challenging situations
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities and delivering results under pressure
- Proficiency in analyzing large data sets and generating actionable insights
- Excellent communication and networking skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to different target groups
Preferential qualifications
- Experience in implementing regulatory change initiatives
- Knowledge of equity and complex derivative investment products
- Familiarity with global transaction reporting regulations
