Tasks
- Manage and resolve issues or inquiries related to regulatory reporting inventory
- Interpreting and translating regulations into clear business requirements
- Applying reporting rules to specific business activities to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Collaborate with upstream business teams to deliver complete, timely, and accurate data to global regulatory authorities
- Collaboration with teams in Edinburgh, Geneva, and Bangalore, as well as close cooperation with compliance, control, project, and governance stakeholders
- Analyzing large amounts of data to identify trends, generate insights, and produce regular reports for senior stakeholders
- Critically reviewing and questioning interpretations and applications of transaction reporting regulations
- Prioritizing and executing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse target groups
- Promoting strong relationships and collaboration across global stakeholder groups
Requirements
Required qualifications, skills and knowledge
- Experience in transaction or regulatory reporting, with a deep understanding of EMIR, MiFID II, FMiA, or similar regulations
- Proven ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure
- Proficiency in analyzing large amounts of data and generating actionable insights
- Excellent communication and networking skills, with the ability to collaborate across global teams
- Ability to articulate complex concepts to different target groups
Preferred qualifications, skills and knowledge
- Experience in implementing regulatory change initiatives
- Knowledge of equities and complex derivative investment products
- Familiarity with global transaction reporting regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in a collaborative, face-to-face office environment
