Regulatory Reporting Analyst
The Regulatory Reporting Analyst supports risk management at Vontobel by preparing regulatory reports, optimizing processes and acting as an interface between specialist departments. The focus is on the analysis and implementation of regulatory requirements in the area of capital adequacy and counterparty risk.
Job description: Regulatory Reporting Analyst
Tasks
- Be a subject matter expert in capital adequacy and regulatory reporting
- Become an active member of Counterparty Risk Reporting
- Act as a sparring partner for colleagues from the business unit, risk management and management level
- Create periodic regulatory reports, both internally and for the regulator
- Compile/coordinate (regulatory) reporting services such as capital adequacy, ARIS and LER
- Improve/develop reporting processes, tools and infrastructure
- Project work in connection with risk measurement and methodology
Requirements
- University degree in finance, banking, economics or related fields with a quantitative background. Alternatively, a university degree in natural sciences (e.g. mathematics, physics, quantitative finance, engineering) paired with relevant work experience in the financial industry
- Experience with regulatory reporting such as capital adequacy, ARIS and LER
- Good programming skills (especially Python, PL/SQL)
- A flair for streamlining and automating processes
- Good command of written and spoken English, German is a plus
- Curiosity and questioning the status quo
- Passion for learning and interest in the financial markets
